Do americans spend more money on cannabis than chocolate?

Americans spent more money on legal marijuana last year than on chocolate and craft beer combined, following major changes in marijuana laws, a new report reveals. Americans spend more money buying legal cannabis than on chocolate, craft beer and topical pain relievers. In the decade after Colorado and Washington legalized the recreational use of cannabis for adults, 20 other states have followed suit, while 19 others allow medical use of the substance. Naturally, this means that more consumers than ever are exposed to cannabis and to the new cannabis products that are being developed regularly.

These include episodes of marijuana-induced psychosis or cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS), a poorly understood condition caused by long-term use of cannabis (marijuana).
